Gerhard van Wyk

Matriculated at Pretoria Afrikaans Boys High School 1961, followed by a year in the South African Navy, and then Legal studies at the University of Pretoria. After completing articles, he joined family business ventures operating in the financing of capital equipment . This was followed by experience in Banking at Regional Manager Level and Corporate Listed Companies Management at board level.

Having grown up in a family of entrepreneurs, he moved on to own and manage 14 businesses in varies fields such as liquor retailing and wholesaling, dry cleaning factories, retail hardware and estate agencies. He then built a practice as a business broker in the Pretoria area and successfully assisted numerous clients in the purchase and sale of their business investments. After much experience with Customer Service in the UK, Chris returned to South Africa and spent time on a joint venture in Marketing for Sterling Bonds.
